MONDAY: We’re Kicking Off College Week. Teachers will be discussing their college experiences and discussing how important college is for our student’s future. They will be involved in a series of college-related activities all week, including designing door banners for the door decorating contest.
TUESDAY: college week activities continue as we create and design college pennants to be displayed around the school. We have early dismissal at 1:38.
WEDNESDAY: is a very busy day. We have Parent Center Dance class in Rm# 19 at 8:30am. There’s Audiometric Testing Rm. #19 for Re-tests and Make-Ups. And we have Awards Assemblies all-day. There’s Farsi Class at 2:45 in the library, and Spirit Night at Chipotle located at 18700 Ventura Blvd. in Tarzana between Starbucks and Whole Foods. Nestle get’s 50% of all sales between 4-9pm.I hope to see you all there.
THURSDAY: College Week continues with College Spirit Wear and Gear Day on the basketball courts with music and dancing. We also have the 3rd graders going on a Field Trip to Dockweiler State Beach (8:30-2:00)and the Music Teacher is here in the auditorium.
FRIDAY: COLLEGE WEEK activities continue as classes complete door decorations, with judging in the afternoon and winners announced at the end of the day). The winning teacher and class receives a gift card. and Friday we conclude our Parent Professional Development #2: Reading Comprehension Strategies (Rm#19)at 8:30 am.
Lastly parents, I want to thank everyone for coming out to open house and to our orchestra and chorus concert.
